Privacy notice

This notice explains what this website collects, why, who handles it for us and the choices you have.

Who runs this site

This website belongs to ZedNerve, based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. For any question about this notice or about your information, write to hello@zednerve.com.

What the contact form collects

When you request a conversation, the form asks for:

  • Name and work email. Required, so we can reply.
  • Organisation and role. Optional.
  • Topic. What you'd like to discuss, chosen from a short list. Optional.
  • Your description. The challenge you face or the outcome you need, in your own words. Optional.

The form also sends the page's language, its address including any campaign (UTM) tags, and the address of the page you visited before it, if your browser shares it. This tells us how you found us.

What happens to your request

Once you send the form:

  • An email to us. Your request is emailed to ZedNerve through Resend, an email delivery service, so we can reply.
  • A confirmation to you. Resend also sends you a short confirmation in the language of the page. It doesn't repeat your message.
  • A row in our spreadsheet. A copy is saved, through Google Apps Script, to a Google Sheets spreadsheet kept by ZedNerve, so we can follow up and see which campaigns bring requests.

We use these details to answer your request and arrange the conversation.

Hosting

The website is hosted on Vercel, and the contact form is processed there before your request is passed to Resend and to our spreadsheet. Apart from the analytics tools below, no other outside service loads on these pages.

Visit counts, without cookies

Every visit is counted with Vercel Web Analytics, whatever you choose in the banner. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. For each page you open, it may record:

  • The page. Its address, including any campaign (UTM) tags, and the address of the page you came from.
  • Place and device. Your country, region and city, worked out from your connection, and your type of device, operating system and browser, with their versions.
  • The time. When the page was opened.

To tell visits apart, Vercel uses a code calculated from each request instead of a cookie, and discards it after 24 hours. It keeps no IP address with the count, so a visit isn't tied to you and can't be followed across other websites. We see totals only: which pages are read, where visits come from and on which devices.

Other analytics, only with your consent

Apart from the visit count above, analytics need your consent. On your first visit, a small banner asks whether we may use the tools below. None of them loads, and none sets a cookie, until you press Accept.

  • Google Analytics 4. Counts page views, where visits come from and a few actions: switching language, following a link to the contact or demo page, downloading the overview, how far you scroll on the home page, and sending the form. It is set up for analytics only, with advertising storage and ad personalisation switched off.
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag. Measures how our LinkedIn campaigns perform and counts a sent form as a conversion.

The site itself sets no cookies. Your choice is kept in your browser's local storage, so we don't ask again.

If you decline, or change your mind

If you press Decline, none of these tools loads and no analytics cookies are set. Your visit is still counted, without cookies, as described above. The site and the contact form work the same either way.

You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page, under Legal. If you accepted and then decline, the site removes the analytics cookies it set and reloads the page without them.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your information

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Write to hello@zednerve.com and we will act on your request.
